I am pretty sure since my teen years I have viewed Mondays as fresh new start days. You know for whatever diet I was starting, or self help endeavor that needed to be kicked in gear.I am so glad that God is revealing to me that each moment is a chance for something new, something better. In all my brokenness I drudge into each Monday with a list of the things I fell short of in the previous week. I ate to much, the house is not clean, the children did not do enough school work. The condemnation goes on and on. So now I press in to break free from that. I read this a few minutes ago “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10.)
The message is clear he did not come so that I could hold myself hostage by my shortcomings, he came so that I could LIVE!!! I know that God desires me to be healthy, hardworking, and a diligent mother.However, I KNOW my GOD wants me to see that HE will heal me, cleanse me, mold me. It will not come from my desires to please myself.
